Psychosocial Support

Any life-limiting or chronic illness can be emotionally draining for the parents, siblings & child-patients. They feel isolated and ignored. Our team of social workers gives them psychosocial support (counseling) to make them feel heard, valued, and comforted.

Art & Recreational and Non-formal Education

We provide art and recreation for the child patients and siblings to keep them intellectually active; we also give non-formal education to keep them in touch with their academics.

Medical Intervention

Our nurses are trained in various aspects of Palliative Care such as pain management, wound care, colostomy care and nutritional advice.

Physiotherapy

We reach out to children with neurological problems and train the parent to encourage the child to do physiotherapy. The sick child may experience fatigue due to the illness and treatment. Exercise helps them cope and overcome fatigue. Our physiotherapist designs fitness programs. Caregivers have no time for self-care, but it is important for them to be physically fit to take care of the child patient. We have sessions for them too.

Our multi-disciplinary team ensures that the child-patients take their medicines properly, get good nutritional support, and spends time with them and their families.
